Back to the roots, on this post we present maybe the key of the Chicha sound developed the last decades. It's time to introduce Carlos Vaquerizo Castro. Creator of the founding group "Mantaro Demons" in 1965 has managed to bring the sound Andean internationally with the masterpiece "La Chichera". The composer Vaquerizo Castro, Sicaya Castro hails from a small village located 8 kilometers from the city of Huancayo, Peru. He has played since the middle of the decade of the 50 's initially creating "La Orquesta Aurora Andina". "La Chichera" is the perfect mix between huayno and cumbia.
